Mediterranean Ecogeomorphological and Hydrological Connectivity Research Team


Welcome to the Mediterranean Ecogeomorphological and Hydrological Connectivity Research Team, Medhycon, a research team focused on ecogeomorphology, hydrology and natural hazards in Mediterranean environments.
Medhycon is a research team composed by researchers from the Agro-Environmental and Water Economics Institute (INAGEA) at the University of the Balearic Islands in collaboration with the Balearic Emergency Corps as well as Balearic Forestry and Soil Protection Service. The main aim is developing basic research for transferring an effective scientific knowledge.
The research lines are focused on:
  1. Ecogeomorphological research.
  2. Natural hazards assessment and early-warning systems.
  3. Integrated vulnerability assessment.
